10-09-12 Commission Regular Meeting

Commission March 2012 ALACHUA COUNTY, FL –The Alachua County Commission will conduct their twice-monthly Regular Meeting/Public Hearing on Tuesday October 9, 2012.  The Regular Meeting begins at 9 a.m. and the Public Hearing begins at 5 p.m.  Both meetings are in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (Room 209) on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.

Items of interest at the Regular Meeting include:

8. County Manager's Report: 1) RFP for Executive Search Consultant Services/County Manager Position. 2) Recommendation from Paul Myers for Mosquito Control spraying.

9. QTI Resolution supporting the application by RegisterPatient.com for participation in the Qualified Target Industry (QTI)

Items of interest at the Public Hearing include:

16. Alachua County Forever Registry of Protected Public Places - Add Properties

17. Unified Land Development Code: Second Public Hearing to Consider the Proposed Changes.

18. Melrose Rural Cluster Continued Public Hearing: Request to Withdraw

19. ZOM-09-12: A request to rezone from 'AP' (Administrative/Professional) district to 'BP' (Business/Professional) district on approximately 0.53 acres
