ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Board of County Commissioners (BoCC) is soliciting public input on the County’s future transportation system, and is asking residents to participate in a short online survey. The survey is open until 5 p.m., on Monday, April 29, 2013.

The purpose of the survey is to identify the characteristics of, and steps toward building the County’s future transportation system.

Alachua County Transportation Planning Manager, Jeff Hays said, “This is a positive community-wide dialogue on developing a transportation system that makes Alachua County a community where people like to live and work.”

Information from the survey, as well as comments from the Community-wide Transportation Summit (held on April 10) will be presented to the BoCC for consideration on June 4.
