Planning Commission

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday September 17, 2014, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday September 18, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings are in room 209 of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street downtown Gainesville.

Items for the Planning Commission

CPA-04-14 A request to amend the Future Land Use Map 2030 from Institutional to Commercial for parcel number 04341-001-00, which is owned by Alachua County. This property is located at 401 NW 143rd Street and is approximately 2.16 acres.

CPA-05-14 A request to amend the Future Land Use Map 2030 from Light Industrial to Commercial for parcel number 06316-001-001. This parcel is located at 1311 NW 76th Blvd. and is approximately 0.52 acres. This application is in conjunction with ZOM-04-14, a rezoning request.

ZOM-04-14 A request to rezone parcel number 06316-001-001 from BW (Wholesale and Warehousing) district to BA (Business Automotive) district. This parcel is approximately 0.52 acres. This rezoning can be considered if CPA-05-14 is approved. ZOM-04-14 is also a request to rezone parcel number 06331-005-000, an approximately 3.93 acre parcel, from BH (Business Highway) district to BA (Business Automotive) district. Both of these parcels are located at 1311 NW 76th Blvd.

Old Oak Estates, Lot 8 - A public hearing to consider a Revised Final Development Plan, a Replat and a Section Line Waiver to change side setback to 20’ on approximately 5.02 acres located at 3824 NW 192nd Drive.
