ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct two Special Meetings on Thursday, August 13, 2015, to discuss development of the fiscal year 2016 budget. The meetings begin at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. They are in the Grace Knight Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).
The 11:30 a.m. Budget Meeting includes a discussion of the Sheriff’s budget.
The 1:30 p.m. Budget Meeting includes discussions about County-wide budget impacts, an employee health clinic, millage scenarios, and taxing fund finalization.
The public is invited to attend the meetings. They will be available to view live on Cox Channel 12 or on the County'sVideo on Demand website.
