Permits applied for on or after October 1, 2007 will be subject to Alachua County Fire Rescue's updated fee schedule approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Alachua County Fire Rescue increased the plan review and inspection fees in order to recover the true cost of providing these services. A completed Fee Schedule Worksheet is required with your permit submittal package. We are attempting to address concerns we have received from our customers regarding paying for all services at the same time permit fees are collected. Re-inspection fees must be paid at the Building Department permit counter prior to the re-inspection being conducted. There is also an overtime plan review and inspection rate, if desired. The overtime request will be granted only if the plan reviewer and/or inspector are available, otherwise it will be processed on a first come, first served basis at normal rates.

There is a minimum plan review fee and a minimum inspection fee. Compare the calculated fee with the minimum fee and use the higher in your sub-total. The following information will be needed in order to complete the work sheets:
