Risk Management
Risk Management is responsible for providing and administering the
County and Library District's insurance and benefit programs in a cost
effective manner and in the best interest of the citizens and employees
of Alachua County.
Employee Benefits
Administers all employee benefits including group health, life, dental,
vision, deferred compensation, and cafeteria plans. Organizes and
conducts employee wellness and fitness activities including an annual
health fair, flu vaccinations, and
preventative care programs. Serves as liaison to the Florida Retirement
System (FRS).
Safety and Loss Control
Develops and coordinates all safety and loss control programs to reduce
accidents, occupational illnesses, and exposure to long-term health
hazards.
