2018 Livestock and Forages Field Day

The Northeast Florida Livestock Agents Group is hosting the UF/IFAS Extension 2018 Livestock & Forages Field Day on July 26, 2018, at Santa Fe River Ranch (29220 N.W. 122nd Street, Alachua), from 8:45 a.m. (registration begins at 8 a.m.) to 2:15 p.m.

The field day will provide updates on various topics related to hay production along with field demonstrations. Topics include pesticide calibration, weed control in pastures, mineral supplementation for cattle, the importance of vaccinations, and forage systems.

The registration fee (lunch is served by Farm Credit) is $20.00 by July 19th, or $50.00 on the day of the event and after July 19th. Participants can register online (with an additional fee). There are no refunds for registration costs.
