4-29-19 Children’s Trust of Alachua County Meeting

Children's Trust of Alachua County logoThe Children’s Trust of Alachua County (CTAC) will hold its meeting on Monday, April 29, 2019, at 4 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium at the County Administration Building, located at 12 S.E. 1st Street downtown Gainesville. The public is encouraged to attend.

The Children’s Trust of Alachua County was approved by voter referendum in November 2018. The Trust is an Independent Special District with authority to levy up to a 0.5 mill property tax to carry out the purposes and intent of the ordinance. Its purpose is to provide developmental, preventive, and supportive services for children such as early learning supports and out of school enrichment programming.

  • Representatives from the Children’s Services Council of St. Lucie and Martin Counties 
  • Representative from the Florida Children’s Council
  • Information received from other Children’s Services Councils
  • List of data sources provided for CTAC review
  • Initial budget discussion and budget workshop
