Alachua County Animal Services is hosting a “Full House!” free pet adoption event on Saturday, January 20, 2018, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Animal Services Headquarters (3400 N.E. 53rd Ave, Gainesville).
While supplies last, adopted dogs will leave with a new dog bed and cats with a bag of treats. Animal Services will also provide free pet tags for all adopted pets.
Pet adopters must be 18 or older and show ID with proof of current address. If there are already pets in the home, the potential adopter must show proof that owned animals are current on rabies vaccinations and licenses. All dogs and cats available for adoption are examined, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped prior to leaving Animal Services.
