Storm Debris Clean-up Update for November 16, 2017

Storm Debris Clean-upALACHUA COUNTY, FL – Beginning today (Thursday, November 16, 2017), flag crews will be removing storm debris on S.W. 24th Avenue (from the Gainesville City limits near I-75 to Parker Road) and on Parker Road (from Newberry Road to Archer Road) in unincorporated Alachua County. This work is estimated to last four days.

Starting Monday, November 20, 2017, flag crews will be removing storm debris on Rocky Point Road (from U.S. 441 to Williston Road) in unincorporated Alachua County. This work is estimated to last four days.

Starting Monday, November 27, 2017, flag crews will be removing storm debris on County Road 325 (from Hawthorne Road to U.S. 301) and County Road 346 (from County Road 325 to U.S. 441) in unincorporated Alachua County. This work is estimated to last four days.

Several County Roads and roads in the unincorporated County require certified flag crews. Cleaning debris on these roads will occur based on crew availability.

These additional roads include:

• N.W. 98th Street (from Newberry Road to 39th Avenue)
• N.W. 23rd Avenue
• N.W. 43rd Street
• County Road 241 (north of Newberry Road)
• East University Avenue (east of the State Road 26 split)

Alachua County crews have almost finished the first pass through of unincorporated Alachua County.  All storm debris must be curbside no later than November 30, 2017.
