This edition of Alachua County's "Take 5" highlights the opening of the Southwest Health Clinic. The new clinic is bringing much needed access to health care for residents living in the Tower Road area, just west of I-75. The project is the result of the collaboration of public, private and non profit groups, including the Alachua County Commission, the Southwest Advocacy Group (SWAG), the Florida Blue Foundation, Rotary Club of Gainesville, Charles Perry Partners, Inc., Paul Stressing and Associates, and Dr. Bill Martin. In addition, the clinic would not have been possible without the generous contributions of money, time and services from many other citizens and organizations.
