At its August 24, 2021 Regular Meeting, the Alachua County Board of County Commissioners adopted Ordinance 2021-11. This Ordinance repealed Alachua County's regulations regarding Tobacco 21 and E-cigarettes.
As a result, Alachua County will no longer continue it's Retail Tobacco Licensing. The County no longer requires retailers of tobacco products to have a separate license issued by Alachua County. No renewals will be accepted in the future, and no new licenses will be issued.
