Vendor Workshop

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission and the Alachua County Library District are hosting a “How to do Business With Us”  workshop for vendors on Wednesday April 27, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Alachua County Cooperative Extension Office located at 2800 NE 39th Ave. Gainesville, FL (next to the Alachua County Fairgrounds).  

The workshop is recommended for all vendors interested in learning about how to conduct and obtain business with Alachua County and the Library District.  Vendors will learn about all aspects of doing business with these entities including:

·         The details of the purchasing process

·         The Small Business Enterprise Program

·         The County bidding process

“This workshop will really shorten the learning curve for those vendors interested in doing business with the County and the Library District,” commented Alachua County Purchasing Manager Larry Sapp, “I hope to see a good turn out on April 27th.”
