Special Budget Meeting 05-17-11

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Commission is holding a special meeting on Tuesday May 17, 2011 at 10 a.m.  The meeting is in the Grace Knight Conference Room on the second floor of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville. 

Agenda items include the Sheriff’s request to the state for a continuance on her budget appeal, an update of the latest budget issues, a budget development discussion with the Tax Collector, and reports from two County Commission departments: Growth Management and Court Services.

Both meetings will be broadcast live on Cox Channel 12 or may be viewed live online at the County's
Video on Demand site.  The meetings will be archived online to be watched at the viewer’s convenience, and replayed on channel 12.
