Animal Services "Summer Loving" Event

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County Animal Services and the University Of Florida Shelter Medicine club are hosting the 2nd annual "Summer Loving " adoption event. This will be held on Friday July 29, and Saturday July 30, 2011, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Alachua County Animal Services Headquarters (3400 NE 53 AVE Gainesville).

The first 20 people to adopt (each day) will pay $5.00 (courtesy of the Shelter Medicine club). All other adoptions will be an Animal Services Event pricing, Cats and Kittens for $33.00 and Dogs and puppies for just $45.00 

On Saturday, the Gainesville Police Department K-9 Unit will offer a demonstration. Sweet Dreams Fire Truck, and I love New York Pizza will offer refreshments. Local animal vendors and veterinarians will be available.

Trainers and adoption councilors will assist people in adopting pets.
