ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Today the Alachua County Public Works Department announced upcoming lanes closures on Archer Road at the intersection of Archer Road and SW 40th Blvd and lane closures on SW 40th Blvd from Archer Road to SW 42nd Street in association with the SW 62nd Blvd Interim Projects.
The periodic lane closures on SW 40th Blvd and Archer Road will occur on Thursday, October 27, 2011 through Friday, October 28, 2011 during the period of 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Northbound and southbound traffic on SW 40th Blvd. will be shifted to the west side of the existing road in order to begin reconstructing the east side of SW 40th Blvd. In addition, the contractor will be setting up the Maintenance of Traffic Plan and performing some median modifications on Archer Road.
