ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – A new edition of "Alachua County Talks" featuring an interview with Director of the H.T. Odum Florida Springs Institute Dr. Robert Knight, airs this Friday June 1, 2012, on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Knight will be discussing the Institute's Santa Fe Springs Restoration Action Plan and the general health of our region's waters supply and the Floridan Aquifer.
In speaking of the program, Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, "Dr. Knight's experience and his dedication to the health of our water resources give him keen insight into the challenges facing our community and into the possible strategies to face our region's water needs in the future."The latest editions of Alachua County Talks air at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. every day. Special or regular County Commission and Gainesville City Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
