Countywide Burn Ban Lifted

ALACHUA COUNTY - Based on the most recent drought index readings, Alachua County has officially lifted its burn ban, effective at 1 p.m. on October 30.

Although the use of fireworks, legally allowed in Alachua County, and burning, with permits as required, is now allowed, citizens are asked to continue exercising extreme caution.
