ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct a Special Budget Meeting on Tuesday August 21, 2012, at 10 a.m. The meeting is in the Grace Knight Conference Room on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.

The 10 a.m. Special Budget Meeting agenda includes:

1.     Financial Policies Review

2.     The Long Foundation Food Drive

3.     Community Planning Group Programs

4.     Gas Tax Funding Update

5.     CHOICES Update Including Possible Future Fiscal Planning (This is a 5 p.m. time certain item)
