ZOX-03-14 is a request for a special exception for a primate sanctuary (Koreymonde Primate Sanctuary) on approximately 6.29 acres located at 3011 NW 142nd Avenue on Tax Parcel Number 05879-012-000. This parcel has an Agricultural Land Use Designation (one dwelling unit per five acres) and an ‘A’ (Agriculture) zoning district. If approved, the special exception would allow a private sanctuary for primates (primarily capuchin monkeys) on this property.
