Extension Hay Field Day

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Northeast Florida Livestock Agents Group is hosting the UF/IFAS Extension Hay Field Day on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Santa Fe River Ranch (29220 NW 122 Street, Alachua), from 9 a.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.) to 1 p.m.  

The field day will provide updates on various topics related to hay production along with field demonstrations.  Topics include: Haylage, Sprayer Calibration, Hay Economics, Feeder Calf Demos, Forage Varieties and Hay Demonstrations.

For registration, call 352-955-2402.  There is a $5.00 registration fee (pay at the door) to cover materials and a lunch will be prepared by Farm Credit.
