Free Seminar on Exposure to Agricultural Biosolids

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - A free seminar titled, "Exposure to Pathogens and Toxins From Biolgoical Aerosols Emitted During the Land Application of Class A and Class B Biosolids (Stablized Sewage Sludge)" will be held at the Hilton Conference Center at the University of Florida on Monday August 25, 2008 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Jordan Peccia, PhD from Yale University will discuss his research concerning off-site human exposure related to the application of treated sewage sludge. This event is sponsored by Alachua County, the University of Florida, and the Bill Hinkley Center for Solid and Hazardous Waste Management.
