Florida Friendly Landscapes Class & Tour

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Extension Office encourages residents to attend a class about creating a Florida Friendly Landscape on Saturday November 8, 2008, from 9 a.m. to noon at the UF/IFAS office, 2800 NE 39th Ave Gainesville.   The class instructor is Wendy Wilber, Environmental Horticulture Agent.

After class take a tour of four landscaped gardens that demonstrate environmentally friendly techniques. Your tour guides will be Alachua County Master Gardener Volunteers.

There is no cost for the class or the tour and carpooling is encouraged.  Please call 352-337-6209 (voicemail) to register.
