ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The May 2009 issue of PM Magazine, published by the International City/County Management Association (ICMA), printed an article by Alachua County Manager Randall H. Reid entitled "The Moral Imperative of Sustainability".
The article marks the debut of the magazine's new monthly "Sustainable Communities" column. The column begins a PM Magazine series of leadership and management articles on the subject.

In the article Reid states, "Sustainable governance is a process in which all community sectors and individuals willingly collaborate to create respect for people and place."
