H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccination Clinics

This release sent at the request of the Alachua County Health Department.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Health Department will be offering free H1N1 Swine Flu vaccines on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at two sites in Alachua County.  The vaccination clinics will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following locations:

Fellowship Church of High Springs
16916 NW US Hwy 441 
High Springs, Fl. 32643  

Trinity Methodist Church
4000 NW 53rd Avenue
Gainesville, Fl. 32653 

If you are unable to attend the vaccination clinic, but would like to receive the free H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine, visit the Alachua County Health Department (224 SE 24th Street, Gainesville) during regular hours (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday - Friday and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday).

"We are encouraging all citizens to receive the vaccination." stated Jean Munden, Administrator of the ACHD.  "Getting a vaccination is the primary means of preventing infection."
