WIC Appointment Phone Number Change - Effective Feb. 12

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Florida Department of Health Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in North Central Florida is changing their main appointment line phone number to 352-225-4343. The change will be effective February 12, 2015. Prospective and current clients may call to inquire about the program or schedule an appointment at the local number listed above. The toll-free number, 1-800-494-2543, will remain the same.

“The North Central Florida WIC program provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding counseling and support and referrals for health care,” stated Diana Duque, Community Program Manager at the Florida Department of Health in Alachua County.  “We encourage those pregnant and mothers of children less than 5 years old to contact the WIC program for eligibility assistance.”
