County Manager Lee A. Niblock’s FY16 Budget Message

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - At the July 7, 2015, 5:01 p.m. County Commission Special Meeting, County Manager Lee A. Niblock delivered his FY16 Budget Message. This annually delivered message sets the Manager’s proposed direction for spending priorities for the upcoming budget discussions.

In the Budget Message, Manager Niblock states, “Keeping our mission, vision, and values at the forefront, it is with a sense of excitement, determination, and optimism that I present the FY16 Tentative Budget and my first Alachua County Budget Message.” In the message, he continues, “The budget process is the fundamental way for you, the Board of County Commissioners (BoCC), to communicate your priorities and vision to the citizens you were duly elected to serve. This recommended budget is responsive to the desires you have articulated in my first seven months on the job.”
