At last Tuesday's Special Commission Meeting, the Board of County Commissioners unanimously agreed to request the Veteran Services Advisory Board discuss the location of the Confederate Soldier Statue currently located at the County Administration Building. The date of the Veteran Services Advisory Board meeting, held at the Veterans Memorial Park - Freedom Center (7400 S.W. 74th Place, Gainesville), has been confirmed for Monday, October 10, 2016 at 5:30 p.m.
