Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center Offers Free Aikido Class

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April, 2013), the Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center is partnering with Aikido of Gainesville to offer a free Aikido self-defense class to the public. The class is on Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 7:15 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Unified Training Center (809 West University Avenue, Gainesville).

Sensei Tom Huffman and Keith McInnis will teach participants how to defend themselves with dignity and grace using non-aggressive aikido techniques.
