County To Hold Stormwater Management Program Public Meetings

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL— Alachua County has initiated a comprehensive Stormwater Management Program (SMP) to address the numerous flooding and water quality deficiencies throughout the County. The SMP will implement Capital Improvement Projects during a 6-year planning period to resolve these deficiencies and bolster the maintenance efforts required to keep existing systems operating correctly.

Four meeting locations are being provided for your convenience and you may attend any of the meetings. Please note that the same information will be displayed and provided at all meetings.

There will be an opportunity for public input following a brief formal presentation. All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comments. Input provided in written format on the comment sheets at the public meeting will be included in the project documentation. Questions concerning stormwater related issues may be accepted at these meetings as well.
