Wednesday, January 4, 2006 12:00 AM

The "Alachua County Visions" 2006 Calendar/Annual Report has been mailed to every residence in Alachua County. Alachua County Manager Randall H. Reid, in commenting on the report said, “I am pleased to send our citizens the 2005 Annual Report/Calendar. The calendar format is one we hope will allow them to use the report throughout 2006 as a reminder of both County and personal dates of importance.”

He went on to say, “It is my hope that this will be a useful guide to better understanding of county government. The report includes accomplishments, financial information, County service contact information and much more. Each month highlights an issue or project that the Commission has agreed is vital to the County’s future well being.”

Included in the annual report is a County Government Survey. Citizens are urged to fill out the postage-paid survey and drop it in the mail, or visit www.co.alachua.fl.us/survey to complete the survey online. This survey offers an important and direct communication between the County Commission, County staff, and the citizenry.

If you have not received a copy of the 2006 Calendar/Annual Report by Friday, January 06, 2006, please contact the Alachua County Communications Office at (352) 374-5226, and a copy will be mailed to you.
