Commission Considers Airboat Curfew Ordinance

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Commission will hold a public hearing after 5 p.m. on November 24, 2009 to consider an airboat curfew ordinance. The proposed ordinance would restrict the use of airboats on all lakes and waterways in unincorporated Alachua County between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. The public hearing will be held in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (Rm. 209), on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 SE 1st Street, Gainesville)

All interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate in the public hearing.
