Green Infrastructure Webinar

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - Alachua County will be featured in a national webcast on "Green Infrastructure" sponsored by the National Association of Counties on December 3, 2009, at 2 p.m.   Environmental Protection Director Chris Bird will be presenting Alachua County's Green Infrastructure Investment Program.  In addition to Alachua County, this webinar will feature Onondaga County, New York (click here for more information), and The Conservation Fund  (click here for more information).

Green infrastructure is a system of natural lands, working landscapes, and other open spaces that preserve natural values and provide services that benefit people.
