ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct two Special Meetings on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. The meetings begin at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Both meetings are in the Grace Knight Conference Room, located on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, downtown Gainesville).

The 10 a.m. meeting agenda includes:

2. Fairgrounds discussion: extended services space requirements
3. Utility surcharges
4. Building Permit Status Update
5. Purchase agreement for Millhopper Road property to implement the Fire Rescue master plan
6. Road priorities discussion: project funding with existing budget

2. FY18 Budget Guidelines – Amended
3. FY18 Budget Calendar
4. Budget Management policy
5. Budget transfer to align expenditure needs within individual Alachua County Forever Projects

8. Financial management policy
9. Citizen initiated MSBU, Performance Management, and Public Purpose policies
10. Energy Conservation Investment Program financial policy
11. FY18 fee schedule

The public is invited to attend these meetings. They will be available to view live on Cox Channel 12 and the County's Video on Demand website.

Free parking is available for citizens attending these meetings. Please park in the S.W. Parking Garage (105 S.W. 3rd Street, Gainesville) and bring your parking stub to the Alachua County Manager's Office, located on the 2nd floor of the County Administration Building, to receive a chaser validation ticket.
