Extension Financial Management Series

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Extension Office is pleased to announce the following "Equipping Your Financial Toolbox Series."  This program is held at the Extension Office (2800 NE 39th Avenue, Gainesville).  There is no cost to attend these classes.

Session One: Managing Your Finances and Making Credit Work for You – July 19, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
This session is designed for those who want to review the components of credit scores, understand the credit laws and get their finances under better control. Young couples and college students are invited as well as any who wish to attend.

Session Two: Important Papers; What to Keep, Where and How Long – August 2, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Topics include: organizing important papers to save you time and give you peace of mind. Tips for record keeping for income tax will also be discussed.

Session Three: Basic Estate Planning – August 9, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Topics include: Wills, Living Wills and Surrogate Designation for Health Care. This session is especially encouraged for parents with minor aged children.
