Updated: Upcoming Lane Closure- SW 62nd Blvd Interim Projects

UPDATE - In addition to the lane closure listed in the January 17, 2012 press release, lane closure at the Intersection of Archer Road and SW 40th Blvd may also occur at night from Sunday, January 29, 2012, through Monday, January 30, 2012, during the time frame from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.  The night-time lane shifts and closures at the Intersection of Archer Road and SW 40th Blvd are necessary to set up Maintenance of Traffic Plan and to perform some median modifications and paving work on Archer Road.

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Alachua County Public Works Department announces upcoming lanes shifts and closures on Archer Road at the intersection of Archer Road and SW 40th Blvd and on SW 20th Ave (from SW 62nd Blvd to SW 34th Street), in association with the SW 62nd Blvd Interim Projects.

The night-time lane shifts and closures at the Intersection of Archer Road and SW 40th Blvd are necessary to set up Maintenance of Traffic Plan and to perform some median modifications and paving work on Archer Road.  The lane closure may occur at night from Tuesday, January 17, 2012, through Thursday, February 16, 2012 (Monday through Thursday nights only) during the time frame of 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. 

In addition, periodic lane shifts and closures on SW 20th Ave may occur anytime during the period from Saturday, January 21, 2012, through Sunday, January 22, 2012.  If paving on SW 20th Ave has not been completed on this weekend, lane shifts and closures on SW 20th Ave may also occur anytime during the period from Saturday, January 28, 2012, through Sunday, January 29, 2012.
