Stray Animals

Stray dogs older than 5 months and without identification are held for three business days.

Dogs, regardless of age, and cats with identification are held for 5 business days.

Cats without identification and puppies 5 months or younger and ​without identification do not have a hold time.

All hold times do not include Sundays, Mondays, Holidays when the shelter is closed to the public or the day the animal was brought to the shelter.
