Level Up Irrigation Rebate Program

Alachua County's grant-funded Irrigation Level Up Rebate Program encourages property owners to make improvements to their irrigation systems - increasing efficiency, reducing water use, and enhancing their existing landscapes. Many yards tend to waste water due to inefficient landscape and irrigation system design, poor installation, and a lack of regular maintenance.

Use Level Up funds to assist in addressing leaks and other system issues to conserve water and save money on your monthly utility bill.

Am I Eligible?

• Rebates can be used for residential properties, HOA common areas, and commercial properties within Alachua County (including municipalities). The program uses water use data to determine eligibility. Complete an Interest Form above to find out if you are eligible.​

Next Steps

• Upon receipt of an Interest form, Alachua County Water Conservation staff will contact you to discuss eligibility and next steps.
  
• Qualified work must be completed by a pre-approved irrigation professional. If you are currently working with an irrigation professional and they would like to participate in the program but are not on the pre-approved list, please have them contact Eliana Bardi, ebardi@alachuacounty.us, 352-264-6810.​

Available Rebates

The county will reimburse 50% of the costs for eligible landscape and irrigation upgrades (up to $2,000 for residential lots and $8,000 for commercial). Alachua County Water Conservation staff may approve additional water conserving upgrades on a case-by-case basis at their discretion. Rebates are available on a first come, first served basis, until funds are depleted.
