2022 Saving My Alachua Calendars Available

The Alachua County Environment Protection Department announces that copies of the 2022 "Saving My Alachua" calendars are now available for distribution. The 2022 Saving My Alachua Calendar features winning artwork from the 2021 Saving My Alachua Environmental Art Contest (open to all K-12 students in Alachua County) along with tips on protecting the environment.

"This was our eighth year in a row, and it is still inspiring to observe the environmental awareness and skills of our community’s young artists. It’s a truly beautiful calendar," said Alachua County Environmental Protection Department Director Stephen Hofstetter.

Hard copies of the calendar are available for pick up at the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department (408 W. University Ave, Suite 106, Gainesville) while supplies last. Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The deadline for the 2022 Saving My Alachua Contest is February 11, 2022. Contestants can find entry forms and submission guidelines on the Saving My Alachua webpage.
