The North Florida Livestock Agents Group is hosting the 2021 Livestock & Forage Field Day on July 22, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., at the Santa Fe River Ranch, 29220 N.W. 122 Street, Alachua, FL 32615.
The field day will provide equipment demonstrations and presentations from University of Florida, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Specialists and County Agents. Topics will include a Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services update on Best Management Practices and Senate Bill 172, heifer development, forage fertilization, forage quality and nutrition, artificial insemination heat synchronization and cattle health, direct marketing of meat products, and pasture weeds.
The early registration fee (includes lunch) is $20.00 for adults and $5.00 for children (under 18 years old) by July 15th or $50.00 day of event or after July 15th. Participants must
register online. There will be no refunds for the registration fee.
