Spanish Language Survivors of Sexual Violence Support Group

The Alachua County Victim Services and Rape Crisis Center is offering a free support group in Spanish for survivors of sexual violence. This eight-week group will begin on May 27, 2025, and meet every Tuesday afternoon. All support groups are free, confidential, and led by trained advocates.

“We're excited to facilitate our first-ever Spanish support group led by the two bilingual victim advocates,” said Alachua County Victim Advocate Laura Mena. “We've seen the need in our community and are excited to start offering this service for this population. This is a way of building community while addressing important topics related to trauma.”
