Alachua County Housing Program Coronavirus Relief Funds

The Alachua County Housing Program has been awarded funding through the Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) in the amount of $556,533.00 to assist with rental assistance payments (including back rent, deposits, and utility payments), mortgage payments, and landlord payments. This assistance is for households in Alachua County, but outside of Gainesville city limits.

All applicants must be able to provide proof of hardship due to COVID-19, and must be at, or below, 120% Area Median Income (AMI), per HUD’s income limits as listed in the chart below.

Funding may be used retroactively to March 1, 2020, and must be expended by December 30, 2020. No extensions will be granted. All payments will be made to the property owner and/or mortgage company.
Applications are now being accepted, and end December 11, 2020, or when funds have been exhausted. Payments will be made to qualified persons on a first-come, first-served basis.
