The Crisis Line is a 24-hour telephone crisis intervention and counseling service offered by trained phone counselors under the supervision of the Crisis Center Staff. At minimum, all phone counselors have successfully completed a rigorous 80-hour training program and receive continued supervision and guidance from Crisis Center staff. Phone counselors are always available to listen and offer compassionate support. To call this line, dial 352-264-6789.

In addition to the local Crisis Line, we also answer calls from the National 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. If you or someone you know is having thoughts of suicide or experiencing a mental health crisis, 988 provides direct connection to free, confidential, and compassionate support.
