The County has received a very positive response to the Alachua County 2006 Calendar/Annual Report recently mailed to citizens. Several citizens have inquired about the cost of the piece.
The total costs for the calendar were as follows:
$3,237.73 - mailing services
$38,750.00 - printing costs
$12,879.45 - postage

Total: $54,867.18
There was a total of 97,846 mailed.
The total cost per calendar was 56 cents.
Producing an annual report is part of County staff’s normal duties so staff time has not been included in this cost breakdown.
