ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Commission will conduct their Regular Meeting/Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. The Regular Meeting begins at 9 a.m. and the Public Hearing begins at 5 p.m. Both meetings are in the Jack Durrance Auditorium (Room 209) on the second floor of the Alachua County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street, downtown Gainesville.

8. Quarterly Hiring Activity Report for the third quarter of Fiscal Year 2012-2013

9. Florida Council Against Sexual Violence Grant (FCASV) 13GR17 and Alachua County Board of Commissioners

10. Presentation of Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc.’s Annual Report

11. Report by UF Family Data Center on Alachua County Children and Families Report Card

12. Historic Certified Local Government Report and request for direction to staff

13. Presentation: Water Resources Protection Options

18. Public Hearing to consider amendments to Chapter 24, Codes Enforcement Board, and Chapter 331, Building Code, of the Alachua County Code

19. Public Hearing to consider amendments to the Alachua County Sign Code and related definitions

20. Second Public Hearing on proposed Unified Land Development Code updates to correct scrivener's errors and allow separate well and septic systems for accessory dwelling units

21. Comprehensive Plan Amendment (CPA-03-13) to the Public School Facilities Element and Capital Improvements Element Relating to Public School Concurrency

22. ZOS-02-13: A request to amend an existing special use permit for a clean debris landfill and recycling operation by extending the permit for an additional 20 years
