ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on, Wednesday, October 16, 2013, at 6 p.m. The Alachua County Development Review Committee will meet on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Both meetings are in room 209 of the County Administration Building located at 12 SE 1st Street downtown Gainesville.

Item for the Planning Commission

1. ZOM-12-13 (Rezoning) This application will be deferred at the meeting at the applicant’s request. Citizens wanting to make comments on this item can do so at this or at the next Planning Commission Meeting (November 13)
A request by Eng, Denman & Associates, Inc. (agent) for AF Equestrian, LLC (owner) to rezone approximately 44.9 acres from mixed use Planned Development (PD) district (Marlboro Farms) to a new residential PD district (Archer Farms) as well as to amend the existing Marlboro Farms PD on approximately 86.5 acres. Both developments have a Rural/Agriculture (one dwelling unit per five acres) land use designation and are located approximately at the SE and SW corner of the intersection of SW 165th Street and Newberry Road on parcel numbers 04360-030-001, 04360-028-000 and 04360-030-000, 04360-029-000, 04360-029-001 and 04360-001-000 through 04360-027-000.

The meeting will include the attendance report distributed in packets, election of officers, and Planning Commissioners’ comments
