eCivis and Grants Locator Program Workshop held on March 2nd

ALACHUA COUNTY - Friday, March 2nd, the Alachua County Office of Management and Budget (OMB) along with other participating County and City offices will be conducting a workshop to give an overview of the eCivis Grants Locator Program as well as other available grant funding and resources available in our community.  This meeting will be held in the Alachua County Administration building in the Grace Knight Conference Room from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with limited seating available to non-profit, community-based organizations and interested City and County staff.  At 3:30 p.m., OMB will conduct eCivis Grants Locator Program training for interested attendees. 
 
In speaking of the workshop, Grants and Contract Specialist Vicki Vargo said, "We urge all non-profit cultural, social service, and eco-heritage groups, as well as any interest citizens, to attend."
 
Presenters will include Alachua County's OMB, Parks and Recreation, Community Support Services' Community Agency Partnership Program, and Visitor and Convention Bureau.  Also participating will be the Alachua County Library District and the City of Gainesville Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Affairs office.
