Social Work Highlighted on Alachua County Talks

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL – A new edition of Alachua County Talks featuring an interview with Gainesville Chairperson of the Florida Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers Paul Donovan, premiers Friday March 7, 2014 on Community 12 TV at 7:30 p.m. Founded in 1955, the National Association of Social Workers is the largest professional social work organization in the United States.

In speaking of the program Alachua County Talks host Mark Sexton said, “Just as March is recognized as National Social Workers Month, Alachua County is also recognizing the crucial role that social work plays in improving lives and improving communities by proclaiming March Social Workers month in Alachua County.”

The latest editions of Alachua County Talks air at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. every night except Thursday, and at 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. and 12 a.m. every day. Special or regular County Commission and Gainesville City Commission meetings may preempt any showing.
