Hay Field Day

ALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The Northeast Florida Livestock Agents Group is hosting the UF/IFAS Extension Hay Field Day on Thursday, July 14, 2016, beginning at 9 a.m. (registration begins at 8:30 a.m.), at the Santa Fe River Ranch (29220 N.W. 122 Street, Alachua).

The field day provides updates on various topics related to hay production along with field demonstrations. Topics include: Fertilization, Hayfield Weed Control, Haylage and New Bahiagrass Varieties.

The registration fee is $10.00 in advance (advanced payment can be sent to the UF/IFAS Extension Alachua County Office, 2800 N.E. 39 Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609) or $15.00 on the event day. Make checks payable to: NFLAG (Northeast Florida Livestock Agents Group). The registration will cover materials and lunch. Lunch will be served by Florida Farm Credit.
