Community Planning and Zoning Workshop

airport study areaALACHUA COUNTY, FL - The public is invited to attend and participate in a community workshop hosted by the Alachua County Growth Management Department to discuss planning and zoning for the unincorporated area located southeast of Gainesville Regional Airport (shown on the map as the “Study Area”).  The workshop will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2012, at 6 p.m. at the Florida Department of Transportation Operations Office (5301 NE 39th Avenue, Gainesville).

The County is seeking input from property owners and the public on the currently adopted “Heavy Industrial” Future Land Use designation in the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan, the related zoning designations, and potential alternatives for this Study Area.
